Our Week in Pics

I can't believe its already Friday! Here are a few pics of our week so far! We are gearing up to go to the store and I have a new game plan! I will share later, we will see if it works first! All I can say is bribery is coming! haha Im bad I know!
This is princess, oh so cute but in a Bad bad mood!

This is our new version of a double stroller! Our sit and stand has seen the last of its days and thats ok because I hated it! This is so much easier! I got two umbrella strollers from wally world! We chose Mickey and Minnie and then I ordered a set of connectors off of Amazon and wala! Instant double stroller for like $40!

I dont know why but Jaxsen sleeps better in our recliner than anywhere! Here is is all sacked out!

These kind of pics make me happy because I really do have such an amazing husband! Love him!

Life with my 3 crazies under 3 wouldn't be complete without some shots of them being crazy at the store! haha!

This pic just cracks me up! He is totally in the NO PICTURES MOMMY phase! But here I snapped one while he was telling me about an airplane! Cant believe he is almost 3!

Cougar Tears

Last night I got to have a girls night with one of my best friends who is getting married in December! It was glorious to get out and have time without being climbed on! We had some fun laughs until we got to the issue of age... You see I am a Cougar! No I am not over 40 or even close but I am several years older than my hubs! My mom is also a cougar and she has always told lil white lies about her age and my step dads age and I have been doing the same with my hubs and I. I generally say I'm a few years younger than I am and that he is a few years older than he is and in turn I've lied so much that I honestly don't know how old either of us really are with out doing the math!

Last night we were discussing this and I said, well I don't know, I think I am this age and said what year I was born in and they said NO you are this age which was a whole year older than I honestly thought! I am not gonna lie.. I totally cried! I don't know why it struck me so hard but bleh! I don't like being old!

So today I want to curl up under the covers and browse Pinterest for staying young ideas and remind myself that I am Forever 29! At least until my hubs turns 29 then we can age gracefully together!

Hi! I’m Brittany from The Domestic Geek blog, where I blog about life and video games. I married my husband in June 2011, and we had a little girl this July. I’m a stay-at-home mom and I go to school online, of course in my spare time I’m always trying to play some video games (my current favorite is Borderlands 2) or I try to catch up on some train wreck reality T.V. Shows, I have to know what’s going on with those Real Housewives and maybe even the Kardashians (don’t judge me!) Our parenting is a little different than what you’re used to, because Aliceana our 3 month old has a rare lung disease and always has to have oxygen on. It was tricky at first, but now we’re used to it. I’m pretty sure at this point it would be weird for us to have a baby that isn’t hooked up to an oxygen tank! She’ll grow out of it though, and growing she is! At 3 months she’s tipping the scales at 20+ pounds. I almost forgot our other family member; we have an 8 year old Yellow Lab, Buddy. I met him before I met my husband (I so married him for the dog). I love my little family more than life itself, and wouldn’t change anything for the world. Oh and next time you’re mad because your spouse won’t stop playing Xbox, pick up a remote and play with them; gaming isn’t just for the boys its fun! You might be terrible at first, but you’ll get better I promise. I love playing games with my husband, definitely play in co-op games instead of versus though, it’s better playing on the same team rather than against each other (otherwise he’ll always win, and that’s no fun).
