Mini Vaca! In the Hospital booo

Monday I was sure I must have been having appendicitis because of the crazy pain I was having on top of not being able to keep anything down etc..
I went to the ER and after a cat scan and other tests my appendix was fine but it looks like the dreaded return of Cronhs!  Boo! 
I was diagnosed with Cronhs disease in 2008 and it was pretty bad for several months!  

I have now been here for 2 days and I am hoping I get to go home this eve but I dont know if thats going to happen.  They gave me good meds that just made me itchy then they gave me crap that didnt help at all now they are giving me morphine which just makes me have a headache! grrr

I'm enjoying the randomness of cable tv but missing my hubs and babies like crazy!

Weight or Inches

I am so thankful to have found an amazing group of inspirational gals at the Slim By Summer Challenge!  Even on weeks like this past week where I haven't done well at all I still count on their inspiration and motivation! 

This weeks top is....

When your overall goal is to lose 100 lbs it really is all about the weight!  Of course I want to see inches come off as well but for the sake of health I am focused more on actual 'weight'.  Its time to start busting some serious fat cells and get control!
This past month has been such a HUGE challenge for me.  We make plans and give in the next day!  My hubs and I have both gained a good amount of weight in the past year! Too much ice cream, soda, chips etc! Bleh!  What we really need is a healthy reset!

Tomorrow we are starting the 24 day challenge through AdvoCare!  I planned to do it in after Thanksgiving but with my bffs wedding and new job and christmas it just didnt happen but this time its gonna be great! My hubs and I are doing it together, we have a specific daily meal plan and we got rid of all the crud in our house!  

I actually measured myself the other day.. but I coulndt find my body measure so i opened up a tape measure sit it flat on the counter and measured myself with a ribbon then put the ribbon on the tape measure!  Its one thing to wrap that thing all the way around yourself but to see it laid out flat and how much space it takes up! OMG!  Yuck!

Im excited for the challenge and to link up with the Slim by Summer Challenge and read up on how everyone else is doing!!!

An updated look revamped by ME!

OMG! I am so excited! I just made my own signature! It was so easy!!! Thanks to Shabby Blogs Tutorial!

I havnt figured out how to get my post subjects to directly tie into my pages but i have a link on each page that works lol!  Its a work in progress! What do you think???

Withdraws are the devil!



If you read my post about dealing with postpartum you know I had to go on yucky meds to help!  I was on Effexor for about 10 months when my Dr decided it would be safe to wean me down and off of them.  The wean down process went well with no side effects until the last week when I started 1 day on and 1 day off on the most minimal dose.  By the end of the first day off I was feeling HORRIBLE!  Dizzy, chills, tingly lips, fogginess and my brain and head felt in a way I cant even explain.  I started researching Effexor withdraw and what I was feeling was described as Brain Zaps! What the heck!
As soon as I took a pill the next day the symptoms subsided pretty quickly but then the next day off was worse than the 1st day off.  By the 3rd day.. Holy cow! I was pretty much bed ridden and started researching how to long Effexor withdraws would last and how to help them.  What I read was NOT promising!  Most people saying the effects generally last a month or more! I could not live another day like this yet known a month!  I read that Fish Oils can help with the withdraw symptoms and luckily in the previous months I had been introduced to an awesome product from my friend

I started taking OmegaPlex and immediately and ordered a supplement called ‘Clear Mood’  and with in 3 days the withdraw symptoms were mostly gone! Crazy exciting!  I have now been completely off for a week and I feel normal, great actually!   Yay! I am so glad to not be taking things that causes my brain to zapp along with a ton of other awful side effects!  I am a new woman and a happy normal mommy again YAY!

This past week has been a crazy one!  Valentines equals cookies, candies, nice dinners out and I just have issues making good choices!  I have learned that when I say No to something after a few days it just leads to a huge binge fest!  Well yesterday I decided to try something new!
I joined Weight Watchers! Its a learning adventure!  I learned the hard way that you have to plan ahead and budget your points! lol  After lunch I had NO points left!  haha But anyway I am working on a meal plan and hoping that this will mean a new beginning for me and hopefully one I can better stick to!

Goals for this week:
Stay with in my daily points
lose 2 lbs
Exercise at least 3x

Im the Messiest Mom! Life with 3 toddler tornadoes

This is the story of my life! I have 3 toddlers!  This is nothing! Eeks

So last week I got this email saying I had been nominated to be the Messy Mom of the Week! My first thought was, What tha ...!? But then as I looked around at the mess I gladly accepted! 
 I am so excited that I am going to be featured on Messy Moms Radio's blog on Wednesday and the Messy Moms Radio Show on Thursday!  I am actually going to call in and answer some questions!  LIVE!!!  Haha I am a little nervous but I am sure it will be fun!

Having 3 toddlers, Messy is pretty much an understatement!
 I was just having a conversation with a good friend the other day about organizing, cleaning etc.  Last Sunday I spent 7 hours deep cleaning my house, from top to bottom.  My hubs had been at drill all weekend and I thought it would be nice for him to come home to a clean house for once!  As the kids took their afternoon naps I cleaned up the main rooms of the house again so he could come home and be amazed and then life happened… He got off later than expected and exactly 7 minutes after my 3 lil toddler tornadoes woke up the house looked like a disaster zone again! I cried and said forget it!  He came home to the same disaster as he does every other day.


The saying that cleaning while your kids awake is like brushing your teeth while eating oreos or trying to shovel during a blizzard is so true! I used to think having 3 under 3 was crazy, ya know back when I had a 2 year old, a 1 year old and a new born.. then my youngest started walking and now 3 toddlers is non stop fun! They climb on everything, they always spill goldfish, cheeseits and cheerios all over my floor! They throw food, they eat in the living room, they throw their toys every where, they have been known to take off diapers and hide poop nuggets around my house, they pee on the floor from time to time, they spill things constantly... they are complete beasts some times but they are also a ton of FUN!  They are sweet, loving, polite and the best things in our lives!  
Life is messy! Life is crazy but life is also beautiful and I wouldn't trade our mess for anything in the world!

Last week I sucked!  Seriously in crazy cycle right now!
I didnt lose anything! In fact I have been tottering up and down with the same 5 lbs for a few weeks now and im getting so frustrated!
The only work out I got in was a day of vigorous cleaning and 2 hours at the zoo! 

Current weight: 2freaking30 or so....
UGH

Crazy sleeping toddler fun

This Video is Exactly Benjamin!

So I have to share a sleeping pic of each of my kids and tell you the insanity that surrounds!

First there is Benjamin, the oldest! Our 3 year old! He has to have very specific things in his bed and a very specific routine!
He must have all 27 dinosaurs in his bed! Most are 2 inches tall or less but one is like 2 feet tall! Lol
Then all his sports ball pillows, the cast of Toy Story, 4 very large monkeys, several small pillows and his tiger bebe!


Then there is Princess Cloee! Shes 2 and she has to sleep in her princess castle! And inside her castle she has 4-5 blankets, all 6 of her Minnie Mouses, an assortment of zebras an elephant and which ever other thing she has favored for the day!
 

Then you have our sweet little cosleeper who refuses to sleep alone... Its sweet until you get a foot in the neck! hahaha



Are anyone elses kids this crazy? lol!  Some days I wonder! hahah

Last week my goals were simple and let me tell you... I sucked it up!
I did lose a pound though!
I worked out 1 1/2 times
I had many melt downs that involved mini bad binges! omg im a food addict uggh
Current weight: 2freaking30  BOO seriously i should just go on the biggest loser!

Goals for this week are to...
Lose 2 lbs
Start over my Made to Crave 21 day devotional and stick with it 
Work out 3x
Shake in the morning (i have been doing this everyday for the past week)
