We conquered the cosleeping monster

A month ago we set out to break the cosleeping habit and get Jax in his own bed!  It was a rough beginning and we had to find out what worked for him and us.. We tried everything you can think of and have resorted to just sitting in his room beside his bed till he falls asleep.  At first it was a pain but it was just a fight every other way and believe me he is stubborn and he will wear you down and win every time!  Hehehe
At first there were times we would have to sit in there for an hour at at time and then again when he would wake up in the middle of the night but finally after a long month we have had a full week of him sleeping ALLLLLLL night! OMG I have forgotten what that feels like and we usually only have to sit in there for 5-10 mins now! He gets in bed all by himself and lays down like a big boy and generally goes right to sleep!

Naps have been equally as easy and its wonderful having all kids sleeping at the same time!  We have gotten our evenings back and our bed too! Yay

These are just some silly sleeping pics of him - passed out on the couch and in the car!

Notice Cloee in the background? IDK what she is doing but her shoes are on her hands she isnt a rubber leg girl hahaha silly kids!

  2. This is so true! We had a great transition to a big boy bed, then 2 yr molars started coming in way early! He started trying to nurse all night again! I had to wean him for all of our sanity and now he is sleeping through the night again, just need to move him back to his bed. lol :) I can't wait to have our evenings and bed back, plus with this being the last babe we have, their is a light at the end of the tunnel!! High 5 for a job well done momma!
