14 down 5 million to go

I have made amazing progress the past two weeks but its so hard to not look at how far there is to go and be annoyed!  Mainly annoyed bc I feel like I am basically starting over and really am bc this time last year I weighed 15 -20 lbs less than I do this year! ugh!  
I have been doing herbalife shakes for 2 weeks and I have lost 14 lbs!!!  I really can not even begin to tell you how yummy these shakes are!  I just want everyone to try them because once you do you will be amazed!

My goal for this 8 week challenge was to do lose at least 5 lbs a week ! So far I have hit that goal each week and am little ahead!  If I can keep on the 5 lbs a week I only have 15 more weeks till I can reach my ultimate goal!  I know inevitably there will be weeks that wont be as good as others but this helps me keep things in perspective! 
This week I plan to step up the work out efforts!  We went for several walks last week, and did Jillian 30 day shred 1x and I could barely walk for 3 days after! SAD, OUT OF SHAPE! OMG hahaa
I also have not been drinking enough water!  I have got to find a way to get that under control this week!


Yesterday as I was making a yummy Reeses Cheesecake Shake for breakfast before heading to the park, I thought back about a month ago and thought of how I usually would have piled the kids in the car and headed over to Mcdonalds for 1020 calories and 136 carbs in just a biscuit, hash brown and soda and how I would generally still be hungry after! Instead I enjoyed 267 calories and 21 healthy carbs of sweet yummy goodness and it was completely satisfying!  
My  life is changing 1 choice at a time!  Last night on my way home from work I stopped off at 7-11 for a small back of Flaming Hot Peanuts (great protein) and 2 bottles of water! A month ago I would have scarfed down a bag of chips and an extra  large Dr Pepper on the way home!  Now for a snack I eat an Apple and Greek Yogurt with a lil bit of Peanut Butter instead of gorging on whatever I could find!  Now instead of downing Soda after Soda, diet or regular I enjoy a Yummy energizing and metabolism boosting tea and refreshing ungoldy amounts of ice cold lime water!

If you read my Docs Orders post from 2 weeks ago you know Im in quite a serious predicament   I need to lose weight and I need to be healthy and he has given me a month to see if herbalife helps me at all otherwise I will have to start monthly IV infusions of a nasty drug called Remicade, which i do not want to do!

Well overall I feel great! I have had very little to almost no Cronhs symptoms in over a week!  I had 1 day where I felt like crap and thats because I was in a hurry and had a few chicken nuggets and my body felt every bite of them!  So this isnt about wanting to be skinny, though I'd love that! 
Its about changing my life before its to late. 

Looking forward to this next week of healthy choices!

  4. WOW that is amazing progress, YOU GO GIRL!!!!! 4 weeks ago I realized that I was 15 lbs away from pre pregnancy weight (and pp weight is a good 20lbs above a semi healthy range for me)... I set a goal to lose the 15lbs by baby girl's birthday (6weeks total). I have officially lost 10 lbs so far with diet and exercise - here's a virtual high five to us!!!!
