Oven Fried Okra! MMM Good!

I absolutely love fried okra but it's so unhealthy. Recently I came across a pin for oven fried okra, I adapted it a little! Super easy!
Just take fresh okra, wash and slice up. Dump slices in a zip lock (or bowl with lid) in a small bowl mix 2 tbs of olive oil and whatever spices you want. I like this basil and garlic mix by McCormick. Then toss all together and shake up then put on pan and bake at 425 for 15-20 mins flipping once in the middle.
It was so yummy it tasted just like fried okra to me only better and healthier!

About a month ago we discovered Lawry's marinades! They have several diff flavors, our favorite is Caribbean Jerk! It is soooooo fantastic!

I always buy fresh chicken breasts, separate them into freezer bags, mix in marinades and freeze them in the marinade. That way when we are ready to eat we just dethaw and cook! Grill it, bake it, we even cook it in a skillet in the marinade which is way super yummy!
