Health and Weight Loss Update

It is Sunday! Whats that mean? I get to talk about my weight loss journey! Joy!  Thankfully all my friends in our biggest loser friends challenge agreed to extend our competition for a few weeks!  We are pretty much all neck and neck and with $6oo+ bucks up for grabs.. well ya know

My thoughts on this past week..

epic Fail

Ok so maybe not quite epic but I like to dramatize things a little!

My menu plan - epic fail! It rocked but honestly who wants to cook that much? Not me for sure! I mean hello! I have 3 kids under 3 and a hubs who works full time and goes to school full time!  Blah for cooking a million times a week! Monday we ate good, Tuesday we took a trip and ended up eating mcdonalds (gag) I did make a few things here and there but nothing spectacular.  Friday night we had date night and ate italian food! Lots of it! Ungodly amounts of it! Boo!

My work out plan - epic fail - When it comes down to it I always hit the snooze! I mean really, I get up 2-5x a night with Jax why on earth should I get up at 5 am.  I need every extra little bit of sleep I can get!  Luckily I yesterday I talked my sweet hubs into working out at night when we get all the kids in bed and it worked out much better!  30 day shred day 1 finally complete!  My legs were shaking and today they hurt but its a good hurt.  I am hoping for good results, it was a good work out but honestly I think it was easier than Bobs beginners weight loss work out!  Of course it was only half the time so that makes a big difference!  We will see!

Today I am working on a more realistic meal plan for us.  For starters I am going to start a big pot of chili and enjoy the beautiful weather!

  1. Love the 30 Day Shred workout, it's just so ridiculous! I think I've only ever made it through the first week!

  2. Ah, isn't life just like that? I always have the best intentions and they normally hold for about four days out of seven! Better than nothing I guess and it would be pretty boring to be perfect! I'm following.Rx

  3. The 30 day Shred workout is hard. It took me a long time to progress from one level to the next.
