Paleo Meal Plan for this Week!

Sundays are generally dedicated to weight loss etc.. well last week I lost a BIG NOTHING!  In fact Im pretty sure that I gained a few somehow?
This morning I got up early to start 30 day shred and 5 mins in Cloee woke up throwing up, jax woke up ready to eat and Benjamin woke up cranky crank crank! Maybe during naps I can get it in!

This week we are getting serious about going Paleo! All of us!

This morning I cleaned out the cabinets and fridge and got rid of all the stuff that isn’t approved!  Our intention is to go full paleo with the exception of eating Greek Yogurt, goats cheese and stevia along with a few other random things here and there.  We aren’t gonna be nazi about it but for the most part very strict.
We are attempting to have the kids eat the same thing as us except for lunch!
Here is our weeks meal plan along with some recipes and some links to some great recipes!  Hope you enjoy!
MONDAY
Breakfast – Spinach Mushroom & Goats Cheese Crust less Quiche
Super simple! Whip 10 eggs add in spinach mushrooms and goats cheese.  Put in pie pan and bake at 350* for 20(ish) mins It usually takes around 20 mins but I just insert knife till it comes out clean J
Lunch – Turkey & Avacado Lettuce Wraps & Fruit
I get unprocessed fresh smoked turkey breast and have it shaved in the deli, slice up avocado and wrap in lettuce (usually romaine) add some tomato and some homemade ranch made with greek yogurt and hidden valley dressing packet
Kids Lunch – Paleo Chicken Nuggets,  honey roasted carrots & Fruit
Nuggets are from Paleo Mom –
The carrots are here (you have to scroll half way down page to find them)
Dinner – Chicken Kabobs
Dice and lightly brown the chicken in skillet (I like to cook the chicken in Italian dressing for a yummy flavor)  We do mushrooms, squash, zucchini, onions and peppers – put on sticks and grill! Yum
Snacks/Desserts-
Chocolate Moose Frosting – OH SO GOOD and only 3 easy ingredients!
Squash and Zucchini Chips I also am going to try beet chips and maybe kale chips?
TUESDAY
Breakfast – Pumpkin Pancakes & Turkey Bacon
I found this awesome Pumpkin Pancake recipe
Lunch – Taco Lettuce Wraps
Brown Hamburger Meat – add in taco seasoning and serve in lettuce wraps with guac and salsa! Kids Lunch – Hotdgos, Sweet Potato Fries & fruit
We only use Hebrew national hotdogs & here is the sweet potato fry recipe I am going to try
Dinner – Pizza made with super easy Cauliflower Crust
This pizza crust recipe is so super easy to make and also makes great wraps for lunches
We generally bake as directed in link above and top with tom sauce and turkey pepperoni, turkey sausage, mushrooms & black olives oh and don’t forget the goats cheese! Yum
Last week we did spinach, shredded chicken cooked in Italian dressing in the skillet topped with goats cheese
Snacks/Desserts – Chocolate Avocado Pudding –I know it sounds weird but it really is very good!

WEDNESDAY
Breakfast – Zucchini Pancakes & Turkey Sausage
My secret to the most amazing steak ever is that we marinade it for 2 entire days in Jack Daniels Marinade packets and then turn every 3 mins on grill! OMG so amazing!
Kids Lunch – Same as us except Chicken instead of steak J  They aren’t quite ready for steak yet
Dinner – Turkey Bacon, Tomato, Avacado & Onion Lettuce wraps with Butter Nut Squash Fries
Butternut Squash is my new fav potato subsuituite! For the fries we peal the outside and slice like fries and toss in a little bit of olive oil and seasonings and bake at 350 for 20 mins! Super Yummy
Snacks/Desserts – Nobake Paleo Cookies
Thursday – Sunday breakfast on the go is really necessary so here are some of the things I am going to premake and have ready to take on the go!
                Banana, Broccoli, Choc Chip Muffins
                Banana Pumpkin Pucks
                Breakfast  Green Smoothie
We also make Egg Muffins that are great to go!  Just mix eggs and whatever you want and put in muffin cups and bake at 350 for 20ish mins – We do spinach and goats cheese, mushroom, onion & peppers.. So many endless combination possibilities!
THURSDAY
Lunch – Turkey Avocado Wraps & Carrots (same wrap recipe as pizza crust above)
Kids Lunch – Same
Dinner – Hawaiian Luau Chicken & Veggies & Cauliflower Rice
I marinade and cook my chicken in McCormicks Hawaiian Luau Merinade and in a separate pan cook veggies (usually squash, zucchini, Peppers & Onions) in the marinade as well.  Once chicken is done I dice and drain all the excess marinade and mix all together and serve.
FRIDAY
Lunch – Leftovers from night before
Dinner – Spaghetti Squash
I cut squash in half, brush on a little olive oil and seasonings and bake upside down in a dish for 1 hour at 350
While cooking I brown hamburger meat, mix in some diced tomatoes, Tomato Sauce, Mushrooms and lots of seasonings
Once squash is done I pull apart with fork and mix all together! Super yummy!
SATURDAY
Lunch -  Leftovers
Dinner – Taco Salad
Brown Hamb meat, mix in taco seasoning and serve over lettuce topped with guacamole and salsa
SUNDAY
Lunch – Grilled Chicken Salad (I generally keep some Tysons grill ready chicken on hand for these kind of quick meals)

Here are some other snacks and desserts we are making for the rest of the week
                No bake energy bites
Banana Ice Cream – Banana is the only ingredient!
                Dark Choc Banana Bites
                Beet Chips
                Strawberry Almond Milkshake
Choc Chip Cookie Dough Bites These look pretty awesome! Only diff I would make with almond butter instead of peanut

  5. Sounds delicious! I'm on week three of Paleo/Primal and I'm loving it! I'm 8 pounds down and I feel much better! The only downside for me has been all of the cooking and preparation! The amount of dishes I use has easily doubled.

Best of luck! I think you'll really enjoy it!
